With E-Bill, you receive an email as soon as your latest electric bill is calculated. A link within the email takes you directly to Online Bill Pay portal where you can view your electric bill at least a couple days before the paper version arrives in the mail.
To enroll in E-Bill and request a password, call 877-876-3511 or email with your name, email address and account number. Please note: You will continue to receive a paper bill in addition to your email bill. To receive your bill by email ONLY (and go paperless), please click here to download the Voluntary Electronic Billing Program agreement and return the signed copy to our office.
You can view and pay your Citizens Electric bill online by credit/debit card. Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted. When paying by credit card, your credit card statement will show the payment was made to Southeastern Data or SEDC, which is our third party credit card vendor.

Remote Pay Station
Take your CEC bill or account number to pay at Ste. Genevieve Country Mart, Bank of Bloomsdale in Bloomsdale, Rozier's Food Centre in Perryville and Cape Regional Credit Union in Fruitland. Your payment will apply immediately to you electric account, and there is no extra service fee.
Auto Pay is the most convenient way to pay. You'll save time and money by paying your bill automatically from your checking / savings account or by credit card. You will continue to receive a monthly statement approximately 21 days before the due date. The amount due will be deducted from your bank account or charged to your credit card on the due date, so your bill is always paid on time.

The Level Pay Plan evens out your electric charges year round by billing a rolling average of your most current 12 months. The Level Pay Plan is a variable Budget Billing without a "catch-up" month.
